In year 2000, IMATEC represented Varian Medical Systems (U.S company) for its oncology products in the territory of Syria. Varian Medical Systems is the world’s leading manufacturer of medical devices and software for treating cancer with radiotherapy, radiosurgery, proton therapy, and brachytherapy. Best Theratronics

The Canadian world market leader in Cobalt 60 radiotherapy systems and blood irradiators. In year 1999, IMATEC represented MDS Nordion (Theratronics). Best Theratronics Ltd. became a member of the Best family in March 2008. The company manufactures external beam therapy units and self-contained blood irradiators. UJP

In year 2019, IMATEC represented UJP PRAHA (Czech company) for its oncology products in the territory of Syria. UJP is the manufacturer of the medical devices including mainly, but not exclusively, engineering services in the fields of Medical Devices. IMATEC represented ADAC laboratories (US company) in year 2001. ADAC and Picker were both acquired by Philips Medical Systems (PMS) in year 2001, and due to our excellent reputation in the market, PMS decided to give IMATEC the whole nuclear medicine line, which consists of both ADAC and Picker lines. In year 2019, IMATEC represented Mediso Medical Imaging Systems (Hungarian company) for its Clinical imaging products in the territory of Syria. Mediso is Manufacturing, servicing and selling Nuclear Medicine and modern Hybrid imaging equipment, as well as providing diagnostic clinical services. Company’s website is www.mediso.com

PTW

A company that is specialized in designing, developing, manufacturing and distributing high quality dosimetry and quality control equipment, mainly for use in the medical field, especially in radiation therapy, diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine. Company’s website is www.ptw.de
Due to the war in Syria, unfortunately we lost all of our customers in Aleppo and Homs.
Today our saved projects are located in Damascus (Al Bairouni University Hospital) and Lattakia (Tishreen University Hospital).
Recently, in 2019, we had two projects attached to those sites as an extension to our old existing equipment, namely:
- A new radiotherapy center consists of (linac / simulator / Aria / T.P.S / and water phantom)
  systems at Tishreen University Hospital lattakia.
- An upgrade to the existing (linac / Aria / T.P.S) systems at Al Bairouni University Hospital.
Both projects were installed by our experienced local team with the valuable support of Varian’s technical department.
